Storyboards for my Music Video

After analysing the lyrics of the song, I had a better understanding of what to happen in each verse and the chorus so I was able to create a more interesting storyboard. This would help me film my music video and make it more creative and interesting.


These are the storyboards that I created:

Lyrics Analysis of Lenka, The Show

Before planning my storyboards for my music video, I decided to analyse the lyrics for my song 'The Show' to have a better understanding of the song and to go into more detail with specific lines in the lyrics. By doing this, it helped me to make some changes in my ideas but also develop and create more ideas which I can include in my storyboards but ultimately in my music video to make it more enjoyable to watch.

What I learnt from my Audience Feedback for my Treatment

What I learnt from the responses to my questions I asked was that:

• both people liked my treatment and thought it sounds successful.

-This is a good thing as it shows that my ideas would appeal to my target audience and that by using my treatment, I would be able to create an effective music video that would keep my audience interested.

• the things they like about my treatment was the variety use of camera angles to reflect their state.
• they also liked the colour scheme of having bright colours to reflect feelings of happiness.
• they like how my treatment was detailed.

-This also makes the treatment successful as they have chosen many things that they like about my treatment and has also been quite specific and picked out details like the colours and camera angles. This shows to me  that I would use these ideas as these are the things that they like and would appeal to them which I would include in my music video to help make it successful and interesting. They also said that my treatment was detailed which is a good thing as it shows that I have throughly thought out my ideas and explored other ideas to help create an effective music video.

• they both said that there weren't any bad things about my treatment.
• also that it worked well with the song and thought that the structure of the lyics match the narrative.

-This shows that my treatment is a success as they like it and could not find any bad about it. Also that my ideas worked well which means that it would help me create an effective and successful music video. Thier opinions show their interest in my treatment which tells me that my ideas appeals to the target audience.

• I could add more effects for improvements to my treatment.

-This would really help me as I would be able to include more ideas especially different effects in my music video to make it more interesting and visually exciting to watch to keep my target audience happy and making my music video creative and a success.




I would listen and consider these responses in my music video as this is what is going to help me create my effective music video suitable for my target audience.
