Although Lenka is quite unknown and is only famous for this song, The Show, I believe that the target audience is mostly aimed at females that are older than teen girls maybe 17 or over. I believe that these are the people who are likely to listen to the folk-pop genre of the artitst. I have considered and determined these ages as my target audience as the artist would appeal to them as she is young and comtemporary and can probably relate to themselves. I also believe that only females would like the artist as they would admire her personality of being quite girly and quirky. I don't think that males would really like listening to her songs as they would be more interested in other male artists and other styles and genres of music.
I would expect my target audience to be not overly dressed and not too conscious of their image or their style as from Lenka's image, she is quite quirky and care free. From this, I also think that they would not wear too much make up or have their hair overly done and just simply having their hair down and dressing casually in clothes their comfortable in. I would also think that my target audience would be quite sociable and like going out and meeting and spending time with friends as their would be quite laid back and like having fun. From Lenka's image and style, I would also think that my target audience's personality would be quite girly and giggly which reinforces the care free and laid back nature.
I would also think that the target audience would shop in shops like H&M and New Look as they would be quite girly and fashionable and like going shopping.
