Continuing creating my Advertisement

Today I started adding the text and the image of my front cover of my Digipak to the advertisement onto the background that I have created.

Step 2- adding artist's name, text and image of front cover of my Digipak:
The next step after creating my background was adding the artist's name and album. I decided to place the name of the right side of the advertisement as I am planning of having a photo of Ellie on the left side as though she is looking up to her name and the front cover of the Digipak. This would emphasize that the artist trying to promote her name and CD Digipak and not her image as she does not draw attention to herself. After adding the name, I then added a daisy underneath like I had done on the front cover of the Digipak so it reflects the Digipak and might also acts as a trademark for the artist. As the artist is trying to sell her music, I then added a picture of the front cover of the my CD Digipak by print screening the cover. Underneath the image, I added text of information about the Digipak being 'OUT NOW' I used capital letters so that it would stand out and is more striking so it would capture peoples' attention. I also added the record label so it looks more professional and realistic.

Step 3- adjusting the text:
I then thought that the text of the artist's and album name was too dark and did not suit with the bright yellow background so i decided to make it more subtle and change the opacity of the text to 75%. This made the advertisement more refined and softer looking, making it look more eye-catching and appealing.

Step 4- adding the flowers:
I then used the flowers that I used for the Digipak and started re-arranging them on the advertisement. I decided to use the flowers as it would reflect the Digipak and help promote it. After placing the flowers in the right position, I then changed the opacity to 85% as it would make it look softer and more subtle. This made the advertisement more capturing as it looked more refined and appealing.

I am happy with the progress so far with my Music Magazine Advertisement as I feel as though the advertisement looks really bright and vivid which helps appeal to people when they are flicking through the magazine. I also like the layout as it catches peoples' attention as everything on the advertisement is carefully placed to help make it more eye-catching but also make it look creative.
