Transferring all my footage to another Mac

I have now transferred all my footage on another Mac as Final Cut Pro on my Mac still did not work and would not process. I decided that I want to start editing as I wanted to make a start on my music video and the only way to start is to move onto another Mac. As my memory stick was too small to fit all the footage on, I used a hard drive so that it would be easier to transfer all my footage on the other Mac. This means I can now start editing but using Final Cut Express.
