Continuing my Advertisement

Now that I have done a majority of the advertisement, I still need to add some more images and text to help make it look more interesting and creative.

Step 5- adding petals from the flower on the advertisement:
Like the back cover of the Digipak, I decided to add the flowing of the petals onto the advertisement as i thought that the idea of it was really creative. It also helps make the advertisement more interesting and appealing as the image is unique and different. I then started to play about with the petals and placing them in an order where it looked like the petals are falling off a flower and flowing down.

Step 6- adjusting the petals:
I then changed the opacity of the petals to 80% so that looked more subtle so that it looks as though it is more emerged into the background so that the petals are not that striking so that the text and the image of the front cover of the Digipak would stand out more.

Step 7- adding reviews:
For the review, I added comments like 'spectacular' and 'amazing' so that it would help promote the Digipak and also encourage people to buy it. I made the reviews as though it was said by 'Guardian' and 'Folk Radio UK' as I thought these medias are more sophisticated and also that the radio is the same genre as my artist, it seems as though they have approved the Digipak and think it is worthy. After adding the text, I decided to change the style to the 'flag' style so it looked more interesting and creative to help make the advertisement more appealing. I decided to place the review at the top so that it looked more eye-catching but also contrasting between the dark, black text against the bright colourful background. It makes the advertisement more striking and bolder so that it stands out when it is in the magazine.

Step 8- adding the website:
I also added the website of Lenka at the bottom of the advertisement so people who are interested in the Digipak can explore and find out more about the artist. I decided to put it at the bottom on the right side of the advertisement as on that side it is more informative, with all the information about the Digipak so it would be suitable to place the website there.

All that there is left to do on the advertisement is to place a photo of Ellie on the left side of the advertisement. I decided to create the other parts of the advertisement first as these are more important and also that it would be easier to create the advertisement as I would be able to determine where I would put Ellie on the advertisement and if there is enough space. I really like the advertisement at this point as it is eye-catching and appealing due to the bright, colourful background but it also reflects the genre of folk-pop as it simple and not too complex.
