Now that I have finished my final CD Digipak, I have now begin to create my Music Magazine Advertisement. I have decided to create my final adveritsement and not do any practise designs as I feel more comfortable in doing my final design as I have learnt more techniques and skills on Photoshop from creating my final CD Digipak. I also know what things to include in my advertisement and what tools to use to create the outcome of my final Music Magazine Adverisement. I also have an idea of what it would look like as for the advertisement, I am thinking of having a photo of Ellie standing and posing to add that quirkiness of the artist's image. I also want her looking up to her name on the advertisement and like the front cover of the Digipak, have Ellie giggling so it reflects the album the artist is trying to promote. This would also make it look more interesting and creative. Today, I coloured the background of the Digipak yellow but using the 'gradient tool', I made the yellow in the corner of the background more circular coloured so that it looked more interesting and appealing. I used yellow so that it reflects the CD Digipak as yellow is the colour theme that runs through the Digipak. After creating the background, I am now going to add the text and also yellow flowers, which I used for the Digipak, onto the advertisement.
Step 1: creating the background of my advertisement:
I first opened up an A4 page and then rotated it so that it was landscape as I wanted my advertisement this layout instead of portrait as I feel that it would add more interest and attention to it. I then coloured the background but using the 'gradient' tool and picking the 'radial gradient', I made the yellow more circular coloured. This made it look more creative and striking.
